Well this weekend was the first snowstorm of the season. And it was SOOO exciting for the boys! We waited quite a while for the snow to fall on Saturday - but not much happened until after dark. Lavi and I actually went out and drove back home in less than optimal conditions - but we made it safely. Sunday was a blast for the kids - especially Ari. We trudged around the snow for a while in the morning - but it wasn't packed enough to make a snowman so that was a little disappointing. Noam could barely walk and he kept falling over into the snow - so he wasn't too thrilled after a few walks around. Ari and Lavi eventually went sledding at Dolce and had a blast! Ari came home to a mug of hot chocolate and marshmallows - and he is beginning to appreciate the 'little things' that snowstorms bring with them. We watched movies with the boys (Up and Madagascar 2) on our new flat screen TV - and I was even able to slip in a grown-up movie while the guys were sledding. Lavi and I even managed to hang a few things on the walls during our snow in. What an accomplishment! I commented on how pretty the snow was during the first night of it. I hope I continue to feel that sentiment for a while - it doesn't look like it is going anywhere anytime soon...
