I said to Ari this morning - 'Today is a big day for you and history. Obama will be your President today!'. Ari looked at me thoughtfully for quite a long pause - soaking in what I was saying. Then he said, 'Mommy, go get it'. I said, 'Get what Ari?'. And to that he replied, 'The Obama present. I want it.'
I told him that we all are waiting for the Obama present - and it will come later. It was just too cute. He just dismissed me after that - since I didn't really produce - and we went on with the day. A BIG day in our nation's history. And it felt good today to be a part of it.
