We have officially entered fall 2008. The leaves are changing colors and it is so pretty to look out my office window and watch the trees change in my backyard. The front of the house looks like a medley of oranges and yellows - and they are all falling slowly on to our front lawn. I bought 3 rakes this weekend :)
Ari & Noam are entering autumn with style. We took a trip into the city to see Kfir, Danit, Dean, Liam & new baby Mia. We ate at the Ben-Zvi tradition - Deans' Pizza - which is great for big families. All the BZ's meet up including Suellyn, Flora, Gene, Janet, Michael, Phoebe & Nathaniel plus Gidon & Orly too. Beforehand, Lavi and I took the boys into Central Park. They loved playing in the swings. It was just such a nice day to be outside.
Noam is starting to get tooth #1. You can feel a little breakthrough on his bottom gum. Noam is also pretty close to being able to sit on his own. And he just ate rice cereal for the first time today. He's growing up fast and smiling his way through. Ari continues to just make me laugh and smile. He asks a million questions and is following directions a little bit better these days. Ari has lots of rhythm. He loves to dance and especially drum along to the beat. Drumming is the favorite activity of the day! Especially to his new Blue Moo CD that he just loves. He has been doing a lot of activities too - he does Gym and painting at Gan, plus - he made honey cake for Yom Kippur. At home, he does a lot of drawing with Kristin and we just did a cool spin art project too. My boys just make my heart melt.
And things for Lavi and I have calmed down a little too. The mad moving rush has settled - and we just spent yesterday planting some fall bulbs and roots that my mom so nicely has been saving for us. My parents came by and we all got our hands dirty, including Ari who was a big helper.
