This weekend we finally made it to the Pumpkin Patch. This is after a night of zero sleep - so we are patting ourselves on the back for the effort. We drove about an hour North - the drive was really pretty - but not yet peak....
We navigated a corn maze, chomped on kettle corn, picked elitist pumpkins and bought CT's best apple pie of 2007. The air was nice and crisp and it really felt like fall.

What are elitist pumpkins?
Very fancy pumpkins - only purchased by the silly people who get sucked into buying fancy pumpkins on pumpkin farms when you could just go to the supermarket and get three big ones for the same price.
