So this past weekend was the first snow in Stamford. And it was also the first time that Ari was really appreciating the snowfall. We woke up on Sunday morning to a dusting of about 2 inches of snow - it was very pretty - and very cold. Suellyn was with us and she was also very excited about the snowfall. Both Suellyn and Lavi dressed up and took Ari out for a bit of fun romping around in the snow (I had to work - oh well). They had a great time - and Ari just loved it. He ran around and knew that this was a special event to enjoy. Can't wait for Lavi to take him sledding. We ended the mroning with warm hot chocalate and vanilla malted's at Lucky's downtown. On Saturday night - Suellyn babysat for us - and Lavi and I jaunted into the city to meet friends. It was fun to get out and be around town. The crazy bar scene was a big reminder of year's past - although I never actually went to a helmet and Christmas sweater party myself. Did look like a lot of fun though. Happy Birthday Nick. And props to Kate for arranging this even at 7.5 months pregnant :)
