So - this past week Lavi and I both had our birthdays. It was nice to enjoy our little family over the birthday time. We spent a night out on the town (out at 6 - back by 7) for Lavi's birthday dinner at a kid-friendly restaurant in Stamford. But they do serve great pizza so we did enjoy it. And then on my birthday - we were in Westchester. Unfortunately - Ari got a horrible virus seemingly out of nowhere and his gift to me was vomit galore (all over me). But I just felt so bad for him. He was sick all through the weekend with an awful sore throat - which you can't get relief from when you are only 15 months. So he suffered - and we suffered by just feeling terrible for him. Anyway - all is better now and he is back on the mend and feeling good. Happy Birthday to Phoebe and Nathaniel - sorry we missed the party :(
Otherwise - Lavi has been enjoying his time off but also working like crazy taking care of all the odds and ends in the house that got neglected over the year. He has been spending some great time with Ari and doing research as well - so he has been busy. Work has been hectic for me - but manageable - and we are trying to just enjoy the summer.
