So Ari is officially walking now! He started a few weeks ago - but now he is up and about and walking around on his own with a mind of his own. It is very sweet to watch - he knows that walking is an accomplishment and you can tell that he feels special that he has learned a new skill. He has recently gone through a learning burst - and is now talking all the time (in his own language) and is doing so many new things. A major change is that he is saying a bunch of words and also copying a lot of our words. So his new words are 'Car' and 'Up' and he also says his own name :) He says 'Banana' and he says 'Quack' and 'Go'. He claps all the time for himself and also raises his arms above his head and waves them, and says 'Yay!', when he is giving himself praise. The cutest thing is that Ari points to his nose when you ask him 'Where is your nose'. He also knows his mouth and his ears. He loves Cars - they are his favorite new thing. Lavi bought him a Monster Truck and he is always playing with it, pushing it all around the floor. He loves anything with wheels. Ari has also picked up dancing. He has some favorite CD's that get him jigging. He bounces up and down and always shakes his right leg. It is too cute. We'll try and get a video of that to post because it is just too much fun for only us to see. As usual Ari is just a busy little thing. He is always into something. Happy Memorial Day weekend to everyone! It is so nice to have a break!!!
