So since our last posting - winter has made its way into our lives in full force. It's cold and we got our first snow this past week. Ari has really enjoyed sitting at the window and watching the snow fall. He is such a curious boy - loves looking at everything and taking note of all of his surroundings. Lavi also thinks that he has supersonic hearing - cuz he stirs at the slightest sound. Ari is working these days on standing on his own. He can stand for about 20 seconds at the longest - but he is very steady. He cruises around a little bit and doesn't need much support - but he isn't walking on his own just yet. Ari has also moved on to trying out some new sounds - and has gotten over his light obsession. He no longer says light that much but seems to be saying abba and mamma more clearly these days. He knows a good joke and has this funny fake sounding laugh that he voices when he wants to engage you in the joke. It's very sweet. Ari has also discovered the word 'No' and shakes his head, expecting that you will shake yours back. This can go on for a while but it never gets old.
On the other hand - we were hit with the stomach bug that made its way fiercely into our house - we all got it plus the nanny too. And now Ari has an eye infection as well. I got into a car accident on the snowy day and now my car is in the shop. It was awful - but made it out of it without a scratch. And then our nanny's husband had a plow fall on his back - which sounds very awful - but I think he is recovering. Nevertheless - we have just had one of those week's in the BZ household. I would love to just follow Lauren, Adam and Ayla to the sunshine state and enjoy the warm weather. We miss them - they left this week as well. Anyway - Lavi is on vacation this week so hopefully he will get a chance to relax and spend some fun time with Ari.
