We just got back from a wonderful week's vacation in Chatham, Cape Cod. The weather was outstanding - and the beaches were just beautiful. We checked out a few different beaches - the beauty of Chatham is that it is on the sound, ocean and a river. The house was on the river - so there was a really pretty view. We discovered a great private beach with very few people and beautiful sand / warm water and tide pools. Lavi and Ari spent many hours looking for horseshoe crabs, startfish, snails and all the rest. We bought a little fishing net for Ari to enjoy. We also loved the public beach at the ocean side. It had great views and sand and clear water. The food was great - the fresh fish was fantastic. We ate at the house a lot - it's difficult to sit in restaurants with 2 young ones - so we lucked out with a nice BBQ and a great kitchen. I was hoping to do a little more antiquing - but without a house to vision it in - it was just not worth it. Maybe next year...Spending time with the 4 of us was just great - and we had a super time. We'll be back for sure!
