Brit Milah - The Sequel

Last night we held Noam Eitan's Brit at the Goldberg house. We had an evening brit for him - and luckily the weather and the long daylight hours were both in our favor. Cantor Phil Sherman performed as the Mohel for us for round 2 - and as familiar as the ritual was for us - it is never an easy one! As a mother - it is a painful cry to listen to - but Noam did well and followed in his brother's footsteps by sucking on a few shots of Manishewits. We had a very nice crowd join us for the Brit and Rabbi Marder performed the naming ceremony. Lavi worked hard (plus mom - thanks!) to pull off the right atmosphere and make sure we had enough yummy food - and it was a wonderful event. And to top it off, the mood lighting and music selections were perfect :) Ari stayed awake through the whole event and enjoyed sitting outside with his Safta and watching all the night airplanes fly by. Now that it is over, we can all hopefully begin to get some sleep in the Ben-Zvi household...
